RE has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation and Tata Strive to offer apprenticeship programs under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme. The goal is to create a job-ready workforce by training and retaining apprentices from prestigious institutions like the IITs and BTech colleges.
It’s a subsidiary of the Government of India that focuses on developing and delivering active training programs and curricula. Its efforts aim to build a skilled workforce that supports the Skill India and Make in India initiatives, driving to position India as a global manufacturing hub.
Tata Strive is an initiative by the Tata Group to bridge the gap between vocational education and industry needs.
In 2017-18, Tata Strive started working under the Tata Trusts, aligning with the Tata Group’s ‘Simplification, synergy and scale’ strategy.
This move recognized the synergies between Tata STRIVE and Tata Trusts’ broader community interventions.
Now, it’s providing skills training to underprivileged youth through innovative approaches in technology, teaching methods, and methodologies.
Since its inception in 2014, its unique approach has benefited 6.5 lakh individuals.
