RE AC High Voltage Spark Testers are essential tools for checking the integrity of insulation on coated wires during manufacturing process. These devices detect pinholes, weak spots, or exposed conductors by passing the wire through brass ball beads charged with high voltage.
How does it work?
If a pinhole is present in the PVC insulation, a spark is generated, and an electromagnetic counter records the fault. Spark testers are indispensable in every cable manufacturing facility, suitable for use with high-speed extruders and recoiling processes, and boast an efficiency rate of up to 95%.
