Impulse Generator

Impulse Generator

‘RE’ Impulse Generators operate in a controlled manner.

How does it work?

A dedicated unit charges the generator, allowing users to set the charging time and voltage. Once the desired voltage is reached, a trigger pulse initiates a firing sequence that starts with the lowest spark gap in the generator. As each spark gap fires in sequence, the interconnected stages effectively multiply the charging voltage. Finally, an impulse voltage divider reduces this high voltage to a level that can be safely measured and recorded by instruments.
